First off I hope everyone in Canada has a good Remembrance Day on Monday. My Grandfather was in the war and will be in my thoughts.
In the first hour I am joined by Mike Larson, Joe Mazumdar, and Jeff Christian to get comments ranging from US market moves, gold and silver moves, and even look at some of the less talked about metals. This first hour is full of extended segments with topics ranging from overall US markets health to opportunities in depressed markets, and of course comments on the resource sector. It’s fascinating to see three different types of investors and money managers all have similar outlooks for risk on and risk off assets.

Segment 4 – Matt Geiger, Managing Partner at MJG Captial focuses on the resource sector. We chat about the weakness in the USD and how that could impact the metals; how he is positioning his fund for tax loss selling season; and what he thinks will finally drive M&A activity in the sector.

Segment 3 – Nick Pardini, Managing Partner at the Davos Investment Group shares his thoughts on the weakness in the IPO market.
Segment 4 – Chris Temple wraps up the first hour by looking ahead to the upcoming US and China meeting. There’s a lot to consider as this trade war has turned into something much more than just trade.

On this weeks show we focus a lot on the resource sector and even get an update from a Company that is in the process of completing a transformational acquisition. We start off with some insights on how the Fed has been forced to step into the repo market and what it could mean for future policy. Segments 2 through 4 then move to the resource sector with insights on Ecuador, the balance between copper and gold, and the Company update mentioned above.
