On the back of the First Cobalt (TSX.V:FCC & OTCQX:FTSSF) interview that focused on the eventual restart of the Company’s cobalt refinery in Ontario there were some good questions that you all sent me. I reached out to Trent Mell, President and CEO of First Cobalt to get some more color on the cobalt market and how the refinery has to operate to generate cash flow. We also discuss the growth opportunities in terms of expanding the refinery.
Osisko Metals (TSX.V:OM & OTCQX:OMZNF) is continuing with another busy year. Recent high grade drill results out of the Pine Point Project and an OTCQX listing are just the start of a lot of news around the corner.
Jeff Hussy, President and CEO of Osisko Metals joins me to update us on the points above as well as a lot of information on the greenfield drill program underway at the Bathurst Mining Camp. There were a few questions that came in on the back of the high grade Pine Point results that Jeff addresses.

This year is has the potential to be a very important year for Maple Gold Mines (TSX-V: MGM, OTCQB: MGMLF). The Company is undertaking a property wide exploration focused approached to this year’s drilling.
I chatted with the President and CEO Matthew Horner and the VP Exploration Fred Spidel about the plans for this year. As they point out this is the first year where the full team, most who entered the Company at the start of last year, had a chance to take a broad look at the project and develop some new targets. We discuss how these target were developed and look specifically at where some of the drilling will be focused.

Anaconda Mining had another good quarter of production generating $4.1million in cash flow on the back on low cost production production and slightly higher grade mined. There is also ongoing drilling with some recent results from the Argle deposit.
Dustin Angelo, Anaconda’s President joins me to share some more information on the Q1 production and cash flow numbers. We also look ahead to future quarters and how the Company can reproduce that cash flow and growth. In terms of the drilling we recap the Argle results and also look to the other projects that will have drilling throughout the year.
Cypress Development Corp (TSX.V:CYP & OTCQB:CYDVF) released some infill drill results from the Clayton Valley Project in late April. The President and CEO Bill Willoughby joined me to outline what the results mean for the overall project. Every hole that was drilled hit mineralization of over 1,000 PPM of lithium and all intercepts were very close to surface. On deck for the Company is a PFS.
Isoenergy (TSX.V:ISO & OTCQX:ISENF) released some more high grade drill results from the Hurricane Zone at its project in the Athabasca Basin. I chatted with the President and CEO Craig Parry about these drill results to get a better understanding of the step out distance and where the focus will be on the another upcoming drill program.

Great Bear Resources (TSX.V:GBR & OTC:GTBDF) released news yesterday outlining assay results from drilling at the Dixie Limb Zone. The results were some high grade intercepts that the Company is classifying as a new discovery.
I chatted with the President and CEO Chris Taylor about the importance of the high grade results and why they are considering this a new discovery. We also discuss how these results have changed the way the Company is looking at this zone for future work. In the middle of the 60,000 meter drill program there will be some follow up work on this area as well as more exploration drilling at the Hinge Zone and other targets around the property.

We then discuss the work that is starting at Egina and when we can expect the Comet Well mineralization report.
Irving Resources (CNX:IRV & OTC:IRVRF) has been moving nicely this year and just announced yesterday the closing of a US$6million private placement with Newmont Goldcorp. Quinton Hennigh, Director and Technical Advisor joined me to discuss how this deal came together. While Newmont Goldcorp is interested in the Omu Project there is also a broader strategy to gain a foothold in Japan. We also discuss the exploration that is ongoing at the Omu Project.
