Hammer Metals (ASX:HMX) has announced significant results from a three-hole diamond drilling program, including 5.5 m at 14.5 grams per tonne (g/t) gold and 6.87 percent copper from 74 m within 14 m at 5.93 g/t gold and 2.19 percent copper from 66 m in HJDD003.
Additionally, the results include individual maximum assays over a 1 m interval of 43 g/t of gold and 9.03 percent copper.
As highlighted in the press release:
- The program was designed to collect fresh sulfide mineralization for preliminary metallurgical studies.
- The assays continue to highlight the significant gold content in the Jubilee deposit.
- The jubilee copper-gold prospect is located within the Mt Frosty JV between Hammer Metals (51 percent and operator) and Mount Isa Mines (49 percent).
- Results of the metallurgical test work are expected in 5 to 7 weeks.
