Red River Announces High Grade Results From Waterloo

Red River Resources (ASX:RVR) has announced additional assay results from an infill and extension drilling program at the Waterloo polymetallic massive sulfide deposit, part of its Thalanga operations in Queensland.

According to the company, the drilling is part of an infill and extension program at the Waterloo deposit to test the potential to extend the known mineral resource and to generate data to allow the JORC resource to be updated and a maiden Waterloo ore reserve to be calculated. Waterloo remains on track to be the next mine developed by Red River after the current Far West mine development activities are completed.

As highlighted in the press release:

  • WL17A intersected 7.8m at 36.5 percent zinc equivalent (3.9 percent copper, 3.6 percent lead, 17.5 percent zinc, 1.0 grams per tonne of gold and 94 g/t of silver) from 248.20m down hole.
  • WL22 intersected 20.20m at 18.6 percent zinc equivalent. (1.0 percent copper, 2.3 percent lead, 11.7 percent zinc, 0.5 g/t of gold and 52 g/t of silver) from 195.40m down hole including an exceptionally high grade interval of 5.50m at 44.8 percent zinc equivalent. (2.7 percent copper, 5.1 percent lead, 27.7 percent zinc, 0.9 g/t of golf and 129 g/t of silver) from 210.10m down hole.
  • WL33 intersected 6.80m at 26.8 percent zinc equivalent. (2.3 percent copper, 1.2 percent lead, 14.9 percent zinc, 3.5 g/t of gold and 60 g/t of silver) from 241.20m down hole.
