Adventus Zinc (TSXV:ADZN) and Salazar Resources (TSXV:SRL)have announced additional drill holes from the 2018 infill drilling program on the El Domo volcanogenic massive sulfide deposit, which is part of the approximately 22,000-hectare Curipamba project located near Las Naves, Ecuador.
As highlighted in the press release:
- CURI-259 intersected 7.08 metres of 3.92 percent copper, 3.32 grams per tonne (g/t) of gold, 5.90 percent zinc, 154.9 g/t silver, and 0.74 percent lead;
- CURI-260 intersected 7.55 metres of 2.62 percent copper, 2.51 g/t gold, 5.27 percent zinc, 37.8 g/t silver, and 0.09 percent lead and
- CURI-261 intersected 8.46 metres of 4.24 percent copper, 0.54 g/t gold, 2.31 percent zinc, 16.0 g/t silver, and 0.01 percent lead.
According to the press release, infill drilling continues to yield intercepts of high-grade, gold-rich semi-massive to massive sulfide mineralization within the open-pit constrained mineral resource update for the El Domo deposit. The indicated mineral resource totals 8.8 million tonnes grading 1.62 percent copper, 2.34 g/t gold, 2.42 percent zinc, 48.0 g/t silver, and 0.27 percent lead. The inferred mineral resource totals 2.6 million tonnes grading 1.29 percent copper, 1.09 g/t gold, 1.51 percent zinc, 29.0 g/t silver, and 0.14 percent lead.
