Abcourt to reawaken Sleeping Giant

Canadian junior Abcourt Mines is reopening the Sleeping Giant mine, halfway between Amos and Matagami in Abitibi, Quebec, with the aim of processing some ore at the end of September, or early October.

The TSX-V-listed company acquired the Sleeping Giant mine and mill in 2016, and in June announced plans to reopen the mine.

To date, Abcourt has invested more than $5-million in the reopening of the mine, with cash flow from the Elder mine.
