Search under way for three workers at Mponeng following seismic event

Gold miner AngloGold is reportedly searching for three employees at Mponeng – the world’s deepest mine – following Thursday’s two-magnitude seismic event, which resulted in ground falling on a working area 3.5 km below surface. Four workers were rescued from the affected area on Thursday and are receiving medical care, according to AngloGold’s Stewart Bailey.
