Gold miner Centerra has received approvals and permits from Kyrgyzstan to resume openpit mining operations and to continue milling activity, with full mining production expected by early next week.
Operations were halted in early December, after a significant rock movement were reported at the Lysii waste rock dump. Two employees went missing and after six weeks of searching with no sign of the missing employees, the company has called off the search.
