Despite reporting lower production for the 2019 financial year, dual-listed Tharisa remains confident of achieving its Vision 2020 strategy of producing 200 000 oz/y of platinum-group metals (PGMs) and two-million tonnes a year of chrome concentrates from 2020. The JSE- and LSE-listed PGMs and chrome miner’s output of platinum, palladium, rhodium, ruthenium, iridium and gold (6E) PGMs decreased to 139 700 oz for the financial year ended September 30, compared with the 152 200 oz produced in the 2018 financial year.
