Adventus Zinc (TSXV:ADZN) and Salazar Resources (TSXV:SRL) have announced additional drill holes from the 2018 infill drilling program on the El Domo volcanogenic massive sulfide deposit; which is part of the approximately 22,000-hectare Curipamba project located near Las Naves, Ecuador.
According to the release, the first phase of infill drilling commenced in early March 2018 with the objective of upgrading the confidence level of the higher-grade portion of the open-pit constrained mineral resource by decreasing drill spacing. Adventus and Salazar have now completed the first phase of infill drilling within the higher-grade portion of the open-pit constrained mineral resource with 8,587 metres drilled. A phase 2 infill drilling program has now been kicked off for the remainder of the open-pit constrained mineral resource; which is anticipated to be completed in late fourth quarter of 2018.
As highlighted in the press release:
- CURI-290 intersected 10.93 metres of 1.72 percent copper, 4.09 grams per tonne (g/t) gold, 7.49 percent zinc, 89.2 g/t silver, and 0.67 percent lead for 8.62 percent copper equivalent;
