London-headquartered AP Ventures, an independent venture capital fund focussed on investing in early-stage companies that use or enable the use of platinum group metals (PGMs), has established a presence in South Africa. AP Ventures founding partner Kevin Eggers told this week’s virtual 2020 PGMs Industry Day conference that AP Ventures had hired its first two South African employees, who would be joining the fund later this month.
