Diversified major Rio Tinto has adjusted its copper production guidance for the 2020 financial year as delays to the restart of the Kennecott smelter, in Utah, were reported.
The miner is now expecting to produce between 135 000 t and 175 000 t of refined copper in the 2020 financial year, down from the previous guidance of between 165 000 t and 205 000 t.
