Al korelin and I want to represent the voices that have been silenced. On our show we showcase people who have made it against adversity..
If one black man kills someone it does not mean al black men kill people. If back people are rioting it does not mean all black people are spewing hatred towards society.
Al and I have come from places of discrimination. We know the pain involved with feeling rejected and bullied. As immigrants we came to America and did not blame, did not feel victimized but persevered. We strove to be better educated, successful, driven and wanting to make a difference in the world.
We have interviewed such people. Leaders in their fields, politicians, national media experts and global communicators around the world. They did not protest, they did not riot. They were too busy building up their status quo and helping others.
No excuses, poverty, single parent family, sole earner, relationship issues, drug addictions, gang members. They often had no reason to succeed. But they did it in spite of it. We want to create an America that is supportive of diversity. To bring back the melting pot that has created what America is today.
As a national media personality, I have had the privilege of meeting extremely gifted people. The color of their skin, ,their ethnicity was never visible because their brilliance is what really came through.
Our foundation showcases such people to serve as role models through their stories and insights. We would like to bring this foundation to the White House. To represent the community of diversity and have an organization where minorities can be represented.
