TSX-listed Erdene Resource Development Corporation has announced a nonbrokered private placement of about C$20-million, led by a $15-million strategic investment from Canadian businessman Eric Sprott. The funds from the financing will be used to initiate early construction works at the Bayan Khundii gold project, in Mongolia, and to continue exploration to expand the resource.
