Mining and infrastructure equipment multinational Epiroc this week released its 2030 sustainability goals, which include halving carbon dioxide emissions from operations, transport and major suppliers, as well as from customers’ use of Epiroc equipment. "These are challenging targets, but we will invest in developing battery technology to deliver on these targets. These goals are in line with the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) 2015 Paris Agreement and the UN 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development," said Epiroc president and CEO Helena Hedblom.
