Kazakhstan delays planned listings of large State companies

Kazakhstan has put off until 2021 to 2023 the planned listings of large state-owned companies, including oil and gas champion KazMunayGaz, the Central Asian nation’s government said on Wednesday.

The list of companies whose initial public offerings will be delayed "due to high volatility in international capital markets" also includes carriers Air Astana and Qazaq Air, miner Tau-Ken Samruk, railroad firm KTZ and electric power firm Samruk Energy, the cabinet said in a statement.
