The outlook for the 12 month period to the end of December continues to deteriorate, Standard Bank stated on Monday in a voluntary trading update and trading statement for the six month period ending June 30. Africa’s biggest lender by assets advised that earnings in the six months to June 30 would be more than 20% lower than the comparative period last year.
