Barrick donates computers to Zambian mining school, repairs police post

Gold miner Barrick Gold Corporation, owner and operator of the Zambia-based Lumwana copper mine, has donated ten computers to the University of Zambia School of Mines and agreed to help repair the Kakayindu police post, in line with its commitment of creating long-term value for its host countries and communities. The donation of computers is intended to assist the school in its research projects, as well as delivering computer-based course material to students.
