Gold miner Caledonia Mining recorded a continued strong financial and operating performance at its blanket gold mine, in Zimbabwe, in the quarter ended March 31, Caledonia CEO Steve Curtis says. “The management initiatives which were implemented in 2019 have resulted in an almost 20% increase in gold production in the first quarter of 2020 compared with the first quarter of 2019,” he notes.
