Africa-focused miner Endeavour Mining on Tuesday reported that its employees who tested positive for Covid-19 had fully recovered, that its operations were continuing at normal levels and that its CEO would donate a third of his salary to efforts helping to combat the coronavirus pandemic.
In a media statement on its Covid-19 response, Endeavour said that each of its operations in Cote d’Ivoire, Burkina Faso and Mali were continuing to operate at normal levels with gold shipments and sales continuing, albeit with increased health and safety measures designed to prevent the spread of the virus.
