An employee at gold miner Northern Star Resources’ Pogo mine, in Alaska, has tested positive for Covid-19 while at home on rostered leave.
The miner said that the employee, who lives in Fairbanks, tested positive for the virus four days after completing his 12-day roster at the mine site.
