The South Australian government has moved to assist explorers in the region during the Covid-19 pandemic, deferring costs linked to exploration and license fees in both the mineral and petroleum sectors.
Minister for Energy and Mining Dan van Holst Pellekaan said the impact of travel restrictions and social distancing on the operation of the state’s mining and petroleum sectors has been significant.
