Minerals exploration spend in Victoria has reached its highest level since records began, the state government revealed this week. Minister for Resources Jaclyn Symes quoted data from the Australian Bureau of Statistics, which showed that exploration spend had grown nearly seven times since 2014, to reach A$34.7-million.
