Wesdome’s (TSE: WDO) Eagle River gold project in Ontario reported the most significant drill intersections of February, according to intelligence company Opaxe, based on companies listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
The company reported 2,690 g/t of gold over 0.5 metres. Walker River Resources’ (TSXV: WRR) Lapon Canyon gold project in Nevada took second place with 96 g/t over 13.7 metres. Wesdome also got third place, for the Kiena gold project in Val D’Or, Quebec.
Opaxe compiles the best drill intersections around the world and then ranks them based on gold equivalent grams per tonne using ruling metal and mineral prices.
Sky Metals’ (ASX: SKY) Cullarin gold-copper-zinc project in Australia reported the most significant drill intersections of February, based on companies listed on the Australian Securities Exchange.
The 4.24 g/t grade over 93 metres boosted SKY shares 123% the day after the announcement.
The Alkane (ASX: ALK) Northern Molong project in Australia landed second place with 0.46 g/t over 689 metres.
