The spate of violent attacks on gold smelting plants is of great concern, Harmony Gold CEO Peter Steenkamp said on Tuesday. There were 19 attacks on gold facilities last year in which two security personnel were murdered, according to Minerals Council South Africa. (Also watch attached Creamer Media video.)
