Law firm Webber Wentzel this week set out some of the most notable aspects of the draft amendments to the Mineral and Petroleum Resources Development Act (MPRDA) Regulations, following its publication by Mineral Resources and Energy Minister Gwede Mantashe last month. In a report compiled by the firm’s Jonathan Veeran, Rita Spalding, Bruce Dickinson and Manus Booysen, Webber Wentzel outlines that the draft amendments envisage various amendments to the MPRDA regulations.
