ASX-listed Perenti, previously known as Ausdrill, has confirmed a security incident some 40 km from Canadian miner Semafo’s Boungou gold mine, in Burkina Faso. Reports have emerged that 37 workers have been killed, and more than 60 others injured when gunmen ambushed a convoy of busses transporting employees to the mine site.
