Sustainable mining service provider EESTech has appointed South African environmental and wildlife management consultancy EkoInfo to assist with the environmental-impact assessment process for the Samancor Ferrochrome slag reclamation project.
Chrome miner Samancor Chrome in April signed a ten-year agreement with EESTech to undertake the reclamation of 12.5-million tons of ferrochrome slag waste at Samancor’s ferrometals processing facility in eMalahleni, Mpumalanga.
