Kumba, Rosond sign R2bn deal to advance next-generation drilling

Diversified mining company Kumba Iron Ore, an Anglo American subsidiary, has entered into a R2-billion multiyear agreement with drilling specialist Rosond to develop and implement a next-generation drilling contract. The agreement forms part of Kumba’s initiative to modernise its geoscience operations and extend the life-of-mine of its Kolomela and Sishen mines, in the Northern Cape, to elevate safety standards and improve productivity.
