New data from the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) has revealed that resource exports have assisted in a new record full-year trade surplus of A$49.9-billion.
The Minerals Council of Australia (MCA) on Tuesday said that the new figures confirmed the importance of the mining industry and the production phase of the mining boom to the Australian economy.
