While current production levels are constrained by bottlenecks in the beneficiation plant, Swiss-headquartered Ferrexpo on Friday said that it was “making good progress” towards de-bottlenecking and expanding the concentrator by 2020, which would allow for the production of 12-million tonnes of pellets a year by 2021. The investment to expand concentrate production stands at $100-million.
