Iron-ore hopeful Venture has awarded Tasmanian contractor Shaw Contracting the preferred tenderer status to restart operations at the Riley iron-ore project.
Shaw previously worked with Venture in 2014 to mine the Riley project, before the project was placed on care-and-maintenance on the back of weak iron-ore prices.
