Low morale, management turnover hit Lonmin output

Low morale and high management turnover have impacted the operational performance of Lonmin heavily in the six months to March 31, the platinum mining company said on Friday. The London- and Johannesburg-listed company, headed by CEO Ben Magara, attributed the negative impact to extended timeline to close the Sibanye-Stillwater transaction, as well as safety stoppages and power outages by State electricity utility Eskom.
