Anglo American Platinum (Amplats) produced 1.26-million ounces of platinum-group metals (PGMs) in the fourth quarter of 2018 – a 3% increase on the 1.22-million ounces produced in the fourth quarter of 2017. Amplats attributed the increase to an improved operational performance, particularly at its Unki mine and its joint venture (JV) projects.
