Percival zone at Clearwater yields 5.77 g/t for Eastmain

Toronto-based Eastmain Resources reports the results for the last three drill holes completed in 2018 at the Percival discovery. Percival is part of the company’s 100% owned Clearwater gold project in the James Bay area. The deposit is only 14 km from the Eau Claire gold project where pre-development activities are occurring.

The three holes were drilled in silicified breccia. The first returned 5.77 g/t gold over 11.0 metres, including 12.0 g/t over 4.5 metres. The second assayed 1.01 g/t over 10.9 metres, including 1.99 g/t over 2.8 metres. And the third was 1.09 g/t gold over 10.0 metres.

Eastmain says the winter 2019 exploration program has 20 holes or 5,500 metres to test the extent and continuity of Percival mineralization. The program will follow up on potential prospects and the 14-km-long Knight-Serendipity volcano-sedimentary horizon.
