Media coverage of the diamond industry in 2018 has been dominated by the progression of laboratory-created diamond production, distribution and pricing dynamics, according to independent diamond expert Paul Zimnisky. He commented that several new players have entered the synthetic diamond space, and that improved production capabilities enabling scaled supply.
