{"id":735512,"date":"2018-06-01T15:11:44","date_gmt":"2018-06-01T15:11:44","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/juniorminingnews.com\/?p=735512"},"modified":"2018-06-01T15:11:44","modified_gmt":"2018-06-01T15:11:44","slug":"karmin-releases-update-on-aripuana-zinc-lead-copper-silver-gold-project-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/juniorminingnews.com\/?p=735512","title":{"rendered":"Karmin Releases Update on Aripuan\u00e3 Zinc-Lead-Copper-Silver-Gold Project"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-style:italic;font-size:16px\">By  <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/investingnews.com\/daily\/resource-investing\/base-metals-investing\/zinc-investing\/karmin-releases-update-on-aripuana-zinc-lead-copper-silver-gold-project\/\">Scott Tibballs<\/a><\/span>  <\/p>\n<div class=\"ftpimagefix\" style=\"float:left\"><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/investingnews.com\/daily\/resource-investing\/base-metals-investing\/zinc-investing\/karmin-releases-update-on-aripuana-zinc-lead-copper-silver-gold-project\/\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"150\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn.investingnews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Gold-Outlook-3D-1-Small-2-2.jpeg\" alt=\"gold outlook free report\"><\/a><\/div>\n<p>Karmin Exploration (TSXV:KAR) has released a progress update on its 30 percent-owned Aripuan\u00e3 zinc-lead-copper-silver project in Mato Grosso state, Brazil.<\/p>\n<p>The remaining 70 percent of Aripuan\u00e3 is directly or indirectly owned by Nexa Resources (TSX:NEXA), which is responsible for all project costs at this time, and until 12 months after the completion of a feasibility study and news the mine will proceed to production.<\/p>\n<p>As highlighted in the press release:<\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>Karmin is advised that expenditures during the first quarter of 2018 by Nexa totalled US$2.9 million with;\n<p>\u2022   US$0.8 million spent on approximately 2,000 metres of drilling to extend the Link and Arex deposits plus infill drilling at Baba\u00e7u and<\/p>\n<p>\u2022   US$2.1 million on engineering, environmental and geo-mechanical studies.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>Karmin understands that an update to the mineral resource dated December 23, 2016 is expected in the second quarter of 2018.<\/li>\n<li>As previously reported SNC Lavalin has been contracted, by Nexa, to develop a feasibility study on Aripuan\u00e3 with completion expected in the second half of 2018.
