{"id":714191,"date":"2018-05-23T21:19:13","date_gmt":"2018-05-23T21:19:13","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/juniorminingnews.com\/?p=714191"},"modified":"2018-05-23T21:19:13","modified_gmt":"2018-05-23T21:19:13","slug":"upside-dow-breakout-may-be-just-the-beginning","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/juniorminingnews.com\/?p=714191","title":{"rendered":"Upside Dow Breakout May Be Just The Beginning"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"entry-content post-content\">\n<div class=\"post-meta date-color\">\n<div class=\"entry-meta single-post-meta clearfix gem-post-date\">\n<div class=\"post-meta-left\">\n<p><span class=\"post-meta-date\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.thetechnicaltraders.com\/partners\/idevaffiliate.php?id=421\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-full wp-image-689341 alignleft\" src=\"http:\/\/juniorminingnews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/technicaltraders2.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"260\" height=\"128\" data-id=\"689341\" \/><\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<p>May 21, 2018<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"post-meta-left\"><\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>At this point, all we can say is \u201cWow \u2013 did you see that breakout?\u201d.\u00a0 If you have been following our analysis, you already know we\u2019ve been predicting this upside price move for over 4 weeks with our specialized price modeling systems, cycle analysis models and other specialized trading tools.\u00a0 Last weekend, we posted very detailed analysis of the Elliot Wave and Fibonacci price levels that suggest we could see another upside price move that no one is expecting.<\/p>\n<p>Please take a minute to read our two recent Elliot Wave research posts before you continue reading this post.\u00a0 We want to make sure you understand the components of this price setup and what we believe will be the most likely outcome.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.thetechnicaltraders.com\/timeprice-study-shows-us-markets-are-straining-to-move-higher\/\">Elliott Wave Report 1<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.thetechnicaltraders.com\/fibonacci-and-elliot-wave-predict-breakout-highs\/\">Elliott Wave Report 2<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The upside breakout in price on Monday actually originated with an upside gap Sunday night.\u00a0 This upside gap was likely the result of a combination of factors, yet it supported our analysis that the US major markets are poised for a dramatic upside price move soon.\u00a0 Our Elliot Wave analysis suggested we could be setting up for a Wave 3-d upside price move that will end with a corrective price move sometime in early\/mid 2019.\u00a0 In order to confirm this analysis, we have to see new all-time price highs established before the end of 2018 with a solid upside price rally in place.<\/p>\n<p>While the YM (DOW) was the only US major to show a clear upside price breakout, we believe the other US major markets will follow along soon enough.\u00a0 We have highlighted what we believe is a critical support zone on this YM chart to try to illustrate that price rotation is normal.\u00a0 We expect to see a 1~2% price rotation throughout this upside move that is completely natural and healthy for the markets.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-26185\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetechnicaltraders.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/1-3.png\" sizes=\"(max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px\" srcset=\"http:\/\/www.thetechnicaltraders.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/1-3.png 700w, http:\/\/www.thetechnicaltraders.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/1-3-300x210.png 300w\" alt=\"\" width=\"700\" height=\"490\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Again, this is completely natural as the YM (Dow Jones index) is tied to the DOW Industrials and the Transportation Index which are breaking out this week. A breakout move like this in the YM suggests that the overall US economy is strengthening and that the future expectations are good that increased levels of transportation of goods will unfold.
