(TSX:GQM) announced its financial results for the quarter ended <span>March 31, 2018<\/span> at its Soledad Mountain gold-silver mine located south of <span>Mojave<\/span>, California.<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">Highlights are as follows:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<ul>\n<li><b>FIRST QUARTER OPERATIONAL HIGHLIGHTS<\/b>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>gold production of 6,579 ounces<\/li>\n<li>silver production of 58,024 ounces<\/li>\n<li>average gold and silver grade placed this quarter was 0.019 ounces per tonne gold and 0.313 ounces per tonne silver<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><b>FIRST QUARTER FINANCIAL HIGHLIGHTS<\/b>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li><b>Attributable net loss<\/b> for the first quarter totalled US<span>$5.4 million<\/span>, or US<span>$0.03<\/span> loss per share, on a basic and diluted basis<\/li>\n<li><b>Revenue<\/b> totalled US<span>$9.6 million<\/span> in the first quarter<\/li>\n<li><b>Gold sold<\/b> in the first quarter totalled 6,529 ounces at an average realized gold price of US<span>$1,330<\/span> per ounce<\/li>\n<li><b>Silver sold<\/b> in the first quarter totalled 53,612 ounces at an average realized silver price of US<span>$16.70<\/span> per ounce<\/li>\n<li><b>Cash balances<\/b> as at <span>March 31, 2018<\/span> totalled <span>$18.2 million<\/span><\/li>\n<li><b>Total cash costs net of by-product credits <\/b>of US<span>$2,090<\/span> per ounce produced for the first quarter<\/li>\n<li><b>All-in sustaining costs<\/b> of US<span>$2,413<\/span> net of by-product credits per ounce produced for the first quarter<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.goldenqueen.com\/news\/golden-queen-announces-financial-results-for-the-first-quarter-of-2018\">Click here to read the full Golden Queen Mining Co.
