It\u2019s been a horrifying past few days for gold, with the precious metal\u2019s prices falling 12% since just last Thursday. Almost needless to say, owners of\u00a0SPDR Gold Shares\u00a0are still a little shell-shocked.<\/p>\n<p>Gold\u2019s slump has also hit the gold miners, though harder. Since last Thursday, the\u00a0Market Vectors Gold Miners ETF\u00a0has given up over 19% of its value, while the\u00a0Market Vectors Junior Gold Miners ETF\u00a0is off by nearly 24% for that same span.<\/p>\n<p>The reason miners have been under more pressure than gold itself has?
