{"id":1414,"date":"2013-02-26T12:32:13","date_gmt":"2013-02-26T17:32:13","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.juniorminingnews.com\/?p=1414"},"modified":"2013-02-26T12:32:13","modified_gmt":"2013-02-26T17:32:13","slug":"1414","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/juniorminingnews.com\/?p=1414","title":{"rendered":"SilverCrest Mines adds Mexican discovery"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>SilverCrest&#8217;s flagship project is the Santa Elena mine on 3,160 hectares (7,808 acres), located 150 kilometers northeast of Hermosillo, Sonora, Mexico.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>By\u00a0Deborah Bacal<\/strong><br \/>\n<em>Proactive Investors<\/em><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-1415\" title=\"santa160\" src=\"http:\/\/www.juniorminingnews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/02\/santa160.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"160\" height=\"145\" \/>SilverCrest Mines says it has reported yet another discovery at its Santa Elena mine in Mexico and more high grade drilling results, sending shares higher Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p>Shares of the silver producer rose 2 cents to $2.52 this morning in Toronto.<\/p>\n<p>The news today follows the discovery last month of a high grade gold and silver zone that lies below the Main Mineralized Zone currently being mined.<\/p>\n<p>So far, 111 holes of a planned 114 holes have been completed to recategorize indicated and inferred resources to probable reserves, and expand current underground resources at the mine.<\/p>\n<p>The company said Tuesday the program continues to be &#8220;extremely successful&#8221;
