BHP<\/strong> has announced changes to its executive leadership team: these include the appointment of Ragnar<\/strong> Udd<\/strong> to the president of Minerals Americas role, effective Nov. 1. Udd is currently BHP\u2019s acting chief technology officer.<\/p>\n

Grant Ewing<\/strong> is now the CEO of Blue Star Gold<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Alex Terentiew<\/strong> has been appointed as the president and CEO of Canadian Goldcamps<\/strong> (formerly Supreme Metals); David Garofalo<\/strong> has been appointed to the board.<\/p>\n

Cobalt Blockchain<\/strong> has announced a restructuring of its board and management team as the company focuses on bringing ethically-sourced cobalt to market. Peter Copetti<\/strong> has joined Cobalt Blockchain as executive chairman and CEO with Lance Hooper<\/strong> and Jim Blake<\/strong> stepping down from the board. Hooper remains president and COO, while Blake will continue to provide corporate secretarial service. Peter Hooper<\/strong> is stepping down as CEO, but will continue to serve as a board member and in an executive advisory capacity.<\/p>\n

John Mansanti<\/strong>, the president and CEO of Crystal Peak Minerals, <\/strong>has resigned to pursue other opportunities; Mansanti will also be stepping down as a director. Dean Pekeski<\/strong>, the VP of project development, has been named interim president and CEO.<\/p>\n

Joanna Pearson<\/strong> will be joining Endeavour Mining<\/strong> in the coming months to assume the role of executive VP and CFO, effective early 2021. In the interim, Henri de Joux<\/strong> will continue as interim CFO and executive VP.<\/p>\n

Uranium producer Energy Fuels<\/strong> is making changes to its management team to reduce costs. These include upcoming departures of W. Paul Goranson<\/strong> and Matt Tarnowski<\/strong> \u2013 Goranson serves as the company\u2019s COO while Tarnowski currently holds the chief accounting officer role.<\/p>\n

Peter Smith<\/strong> has stepped down from the president and CEO role with Fancamp Exploration<\/strong> for personal reasons.<\/p>\n

Mark Trevisiol<\/strong> has been named VP of project development with First Cobalt<\/strong>; Trevisiol be responsible for the recommissioning and expansion of the First Cobalt refinery in Ontario.<\/p>\n

Matt Badylak<\/strong> is now the executive VP and COO of Galiano Gold<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Douglas Mason<\/strong> has resigned as president of Magnum Goldcorp<\/strong>; Peter D. Berdusco<\/strong> has been appointed as president and a director of the company. Mason remains CEO and a director of Magnum.<\/p>\n

Graham Warren<\/strong> has been named CFO and corporate secretary of Platinex, <\/strong>following Carmelo Marrelli<\/strong>\u2018s resignation.<\/p>\n

Andreas Rompel<\/strong> has been appointed VP of exploration for Q-Gold Resources<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Liz Wall<\/strong> has been named executive director of sustainability for Royal Road Minerals<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Teck Resources<\/strong> announced three senior executive appointments: Harry Conger<\/strong> has been named the company\u2019s executive VP and COO, effective Sept. 1. Jonathan Price<\/strong> has been appointed as Teck\u2019s senior VP and CFO, effective Oct. 1. Price succeeds Ron Millos<\/strong>, who recently announced his retirement. Nicholas Hooper<\/strong> has been named senior VP, corporate development, effective Sept. 1, succeeding Andrew Golding<\/strong>, who has also recently announced his retirement. Conger, Price and Hooper will report to Don Lindsay<\/strong>, Teck\u2019s president and CEO.<\/p>\n

Treasury Metals<\/strong> has announced a planned leadership change, following its acquisition of the Goldlund gold project: the newly constituted board of directors has started a formal search for a CEO; Greg<\/strong> Ferron<\/strong> will continue to serve as CEO while the search is underway.<\/p>\n

Sebastien Plouffe<\/strong> has stepped down from this role as VP of public relations with Vanstar Mining<\/strong> and stepped down as a director of the company.<\/p>\n

Greg Bronson<\/strong>\u00a0has been named president and CEO of\u00a0Zanzibar Gold<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
