Management appointments announced this week include:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Clean Air Metals<\/strong> has named Allan MacTavish<\/strong> as VP and project manager for the company\u2019s Thunder Bay North project.<\/p>\n

Robert Winton<\/strong> has joined Excelsior Mining<\/strong> as general manager and senior VP of the Gunnison copper project. Winton will be responsible for mining operations at the in-situ project in southern Arizona.<\/p>\n

Shandong Gold<\/strong>, a Hong Kong-based publicly listed mining company, has named Mark Wall<\/strong> as CEO of Streamers Gold Mining, its wholly owned subsidiary. In May, Shandong, announced a $230-million purchase of TMAC Resources<\/strong>, the owner of the Hope Bay project in Nunavut. Wall was most recently at Nevada Copper<\/strong> and also spent 12 years at Barrick Gold<\/strong>, where he was senior VP and operations officer.<\/p>\n

George Bee<\/strong> has been appointed president of US Gold<\/strong>. Bee spent 16 years with Barrick Gold<\/strong>, where his roles included serving as the senior VP for the Frontera district in Chile and Argentina, in addition to the mine manager role at Goldstrike, among others.<\/p>\n

Raj Gill<\/strong> has joined Wesdome Gold Mines<\/strong> as VP of corporate development.<\/p>\n

Board moves include:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Wayne Hubert<\/strong> is now the executive chairman of Austral Gold\u2019s<\/strong> board; Eduardo Elsztain<\/strong>, the company\u2019s largest shareholder, remains on the board as non-executive vice-chairman. Raul Guerra<\/strong> has also been named corporate VP of exploration.<\/p>\n

Miloje Vicentijevic<\/strong> has resigned as a non-executive director of Benz Mining<\/strong> for personal reasons.<\/p>\n

Daniel Vickerman<\/strong> is now an independent director of Blackrock Gold<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Garry Clark<\/strong> has been appointed to the board of Brigadier Gold<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Canada Silver Cobalt Works<\/strong> has announced that Matt Halliday<\/strong>, the company\u2019s president and COO, has been appointed to the board. In connection this appointment, Marc Bamber<\/strong> has resigned as a director.<\/p>\n

George Gale<\/strong> has been named non-executive chairman of Cascadero Copper<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Scott Morrison<\/strong> has joined the board of Firestone Ventures<\/strong>, following John Kowlchuk\u2019s<\/strong> resignation.<\/p>\n

Warren Gilman<\/strong> has joined the board of Gold Royalty<\/strong>, a subsidiary of GoldMining<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Glencore Canada<\/strong> has exercised its right to appoint Ken Klassen<\/strong> to Group Eleven Resources\u2019<\/strong> board of directors.<\/p>\n

Nunu Ntshingila<\/strong> and Martie Janse van Rensburg<\/strong> have joined Ivanhoe Mines\u2019<\/strong> board as independent directors.<\/p>\n

Monica Ospina<\/strong> has joined the board of Monarca Minerals<\/strong>. Ospina is the founder and managing director of O Trade<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Peter Schloo<\/strong> has been named a director of Pacific Empire Minerals<\/strong>, with Keith Henderson<\/strong> stepping down from the board.<\/p>\n

Rejean Gosselin<\/strong> and Michel Fontaine<\/strong> are now on the board of Puma Exploration<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Michael Konnert<\/strong> has joined Summa Silver\u2019s<\/strong> board of directors. Konnert is CEO and founder of Vizsla<\/strong> Resources<\/strong>. Hani Zabaneh<\/strong> has resigned from the board.<\/p>\n

Miguel Inchaustegui<\/strong> has stepped down from Turmalina Metals\u2019<\/strong> board to assume the role of Minister of Energy and Mines for the Peruvian government.<\/p>\n

Juan Duarte Bravo<\/strong>\u00a0has joined the board of\u00a0Zanzibar Gold<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
