Gold miner Agnico Eagle\u2019s Kittil\u00e4 mining operation, in Finland, has recently received the permit for expanding its processing facility to two-million tonnes a year and CEO Sean Boyd has said that the company is already starting to look at further growth opportunities.<\/p>\n
The permit is a key component of the ongoing \u20ac160-million to \u20ac170-million expansion project at Kittil\u00e4, which includes the construction of a 1.04-km-deep shaft and a processing plant expansion of 25%.<\/p>\n
