death of one worker, the company <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.pretivm.com\/news\/news-release-details\/2020\/Pretivm-Reports-Fatality-at-Brucejack-Mine\/default.aspx\" >reported over the weekend<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The isolated incident occurred during maintenance at a support facility on surface, Pretium said in a statement.<\/p>\n<p>The injured employee was treated immediately by the site emergency response team and then transported to the hospital in Terrace, BC, where he passed away on Sunday.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe safety and wellbeing of our employees is our topmost priority and we will investigate the incident fully.\u00a0This tragedy is a devastating reminder of the critical importance of safety in all aspects of mine site operations,\u201d president and CEO
