Management moves announced this week include:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Danny Callow <\/strong>has beenappointed president and CEO of African Gold Group<\/strong>; Callow was most recently the company\u2019s COO.<\/p>\n

Edgar Barrios<\/strong> is now a senior mining consultant for Altamira Gold<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Igor Gonzales has been appointed as the COO of Appian Capital<\/strong>, investment advisory firm to private equity funds that invest in mining.<\/p>\n

Luis Miguel Inchaustegui Zevallos<\/strong> is now an advisor to and a director of Canariaco Copper Peru, Candente Copper\u2019s<\/strong> Peruvian subsidiary.<\/p>\n

Quinton Hennigh<\/strong> is now a technical and senior business advisor with Eloro Resources<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Arvin Ramos<\/strong> has been named CFO of First Mexican Gold<\/strong>, following Nicole Wood\u2019s<\/strong> resignation.<\/p>\n

Gary Economo<\/strong>, Focus Graphite\u2019s<\/strong> president and CEO, will retire at the end of June.<\/p>\n

Rob McLeod<\/strong> is now the CEO and a director of Heatherdale Resources<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

At the end of June, Steve Douglas<\/strong> will join Hudbay Minerals<\/strong> as the company\u2019s senior VP and CFO.<\/p>\n

Tania Barreto Shaw<\/strong> has been named head of investor relations with Maritime Resources<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Daniel Kunz<\/strong> has been appointed CEO of Prime Mining<\/strong>, replacing Andrew Bowering<\/strong> who is now an executive VP with the company. Both Kunz and Bowering remain on the company\u2019s board. Kunz is also stepping down from his role as executive chairman.<\/p>\n

Jody Kuzenko<\/strong> has been named president and CEO of Torex Gold<\/strong> \u2013 Kuzenko was most recently the company\u2019s COO.<\/p>\n

Rahul Paul<\/strong> has been promoted to the president role with Radisson Mining; <\/strong>he was most recently the company\u2019s CFO.<\/p>\n

Ty Dinwoodie<\/strong> is now the president of Ucore Rare Metals<\/strong> and Kurt Forrester<\/strong> has been named the company\u2019s VP of metallurgy. Ucore is also searching for a permanent CEO following its acquisition of Innovation Metals.<\/p>\n

Sylvain L\u00e9pine<\/strong> has been appointed VP of exploration with Yorbeau Resources<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Board changes include:<\/strong><\/p>\n

African Gold Group<\/strong> has also restructured its board: Scott Eldridge<\/strong> has been appointed non-executive chairman, Jan-Erik Back<\/strong> is now vice-chairman, and John Begeman<\/strong> is the lead independent director. The company intends to change its name to Avion2 Gold.<\/p>\n

Yohann Bouchard<\/strong> has joined the board of Monarch Gold<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

John Sabine<\/strong> has stepped down from his position as non-executive chairman and director of North<\/strong> American Nickel<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Murray John<\/strong> has been appointed chairman of Prime Mining\u2019s<\/strong> board with Paul Sweeney<\/strong> and Marc<\/strong> Prefontaine<\/strong> also joining as directors, replacing Gregory Liller<\/strong> and Jorge Ramiro Monroy<\/strong>. Liller will continue as the company\u2019s VP and COO.<\/p>\n

Frank Mariage<\/strong> has been appointed chairperson of Sidex\u2019s<\/strong> board of directors, succeeding \u00c9laine Ph\u00e9nix<\/strong>. Sidex is an organization backed by the Quebec government, tasked with investing in exploration companies active in the province.<\/p>\n

Fred Stanford<\/strong> is now the executive chair of Torex Gold<\/strong> with Rick Howes<\/strong> named lead independent director. Terry MacGibbon<\/strong> has retired from his role as founding chairman; Jim Crombie<\/strong> and Bill Shaver<\/strong> have also stepped down as directors of the company.<\/p>\n

Andrew Smith<\/strong>\u00a0has joined the board of\u00a0True North Gems<\/strong>, to fill a vacancy following\u00a0Zygmunt Riddle\u2019s<\/strong>\u00a0resignation.<\/p>\n
