They also prepared a series of guidelines related to the environmental assessment process, outlining what proper exploitation, exploration, enrichment, and storage should look like.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>This weekend\u2019s event took place in the context of Azincourt Energy\u2019s (TSX.V: AAZ) recently reaching a final agreement for the acquisition of three uranium-lithium exploration projects located in the Picotani volcanic field, which sits between the provinces of Carabaya and San Antonio de Putina in Puno.<\/p>\n<p>Azincourt\u2019s tenements, known as the Escalera-Lituania-Condorlit project, cover a combined area of 7,400 hectares of exploration targets for volcanic hosted supergene\/surficial uranium and lithium on the Picotani Plateau.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>According to the Canadian miner, historical samples have yielded values up to 6,812 ppm uranium.<\/p>\n<p>Nearby, some 100 kilometers to the northwest, another Canadian miner is also working towards exploiting Peruvian uranium.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Toronto-based Plateau Energy Metals (TSX-V: PLU) is developing the Macusani project, whose deposit has a reported measured and indicated resources of 52.9 Mlbs U3O8 (248ppm) and an inferred resource of 72.1 Mlbs U3O8 (251ppm).<\/p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A representative for the Ministry of
