{"id":1152494,"date":"2019-11-29T08:15:35","date_gmt":"2019-11-29T14:15:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.mining.com\/?p=1007901"},"modified":"2019-11-29T08:15:35","modified_gmt":"2019-11-29T14:15:35","slug":"inomin-expands-beaver-lynx-nickel-project","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/juniorminingnews.com\/?p=1152494","title":{"rendered":"Inomin expands Beaver-Lynx nickel project"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Inomin Mines (TSX.V: MINE) announced that it has expanded its Beaver-Lynx nickel project by 6,040 hectares through staking and the buyout of eight properties held by third-parties.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div class='d-flex justify-content-center'>\n<div id='div-gpt-ad-1561499308230-0'><script>googletag.cmd.push(function() {googletag.display('div-gpt-ad-1561499308230-0');});<\/script><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>In a press release, Inomin explained that the Beaver nickel-cobalt property has increased to 7,528 hectares from 4,250 hectares, while the Lynx property is now 12,662 hectares, up from 9,900 hectares.\u00a0<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-pullquote alignright\">\n<blockquote>\n<p>Beaver and Lynx are prospective for large, bulk-tonnage sulphide nickel deposits<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<\/figure>\n<p>According to the Vancouver-based miner, the new ground within both properties covers nickel occurrences and prominent gravity anomalies that may be related to local mineralization.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The enlarged properties provide us with the most significant nickel exploration targets in the region based on available data,&#8221; said John Gomez, Inomin&#8217;s president &amp; CEO, in the brief. &#8220;The larger land position also gives the project greater scale to create a more attractive exploration and development opportunity.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The Beaver-Lynx project is located in the Cariboo region of south-central British Columbia, Canada.<\/p>\n<p>Beaver is 15 <g class=\"gr_ gr_7 gr-alert gr_spell gr_inline_cards gr_disable_anim_appear ContextualSpelling multiReplace\" id=\"7\" data-gr-id=\"7\">kilometres<\/g> away and Lynx 30 <g class=\"gr_ gr_8 gr-alert gr_spell gr_inline_cards gr_disable_anim_appear ContextualSpelling multiReplace\" id=\"8\" data-gr-id=\"8\">kilometres<\/g> away from the Gibraltar <g class=\"gr_ gr_3 gr-alert gr_spell gr_inline_cards gr_disable_anim_appear ContextualSpelling ins-del multiReplace\" id=\"3\" data-gr-id=\"3\">mine<\/g>, the second-largest open-pit copper mine in the country.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Inomin reports that widespread nickel found at both properties \u2013 including drilling at Beaver and rock sampling at Lynx &#8211;
