{"id":1145137,"date":"2019-10-22T08:20:09","date_gmt":"2019-10-22T13:20:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.mining.com\/?p=1004796"},"modified":"2019-10-22T08:20:09","modified_gmt":"2019-10-22T13:20:09","slug":"bryah-expands-in-western-australia","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/juniorminingnews.com\/?p=1145137","title":{"rendered":"Bryah expands in Western Australia"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Bryah Resources (ASX:BYH) increased its landholding at its flagship Bryah Basin project in Western Australia. <\/p>\n<div class='d-flex justify-content-center'>\n<div id='div-gpt-ad-1561499308230-0'><script>googletag.cmd.push(function() {googletag.display('div-gpt-ad-1561499308230-0');});<\/script><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>In a press release, the miner said that the newly acquired tenements are located on the western side of the Padbury and Bryah Basins.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-pullquote alignright\">\n<blockquote>\n<p>To the south of the new tenements lies the Wilthorpe mine, which produced 4,650 ounces of gold between 1993 and 1994<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<\/figure>\n<p>&#8220;Approximately 255 square kilometres of highly prospective ground has been secured by the recent grant of two new exploration licences (E52\/3700 and E52\/3726) and the application for a further three exploration licences (E52\/3703, E52\/3725, and E52\/3739),&#8221; the media brief reads. &#8220;The two newly granted tenements cover a total of 83 kilometres and the applications cover a further 172 kilometres.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>According to Bryah, the tenements cover more than 50 square kilometres of the highly prospective Narracoota Formation, including over 40-line kilometres of the prospective strike contact between the Narracoota Formation and the Proterozoic metasediments of the Padbury Basin.<\/p>\n<p>The package also covers under-explored ground south of the historic Labouchere and Nathans gold mines which were exploited by Dominion Mining between 1989 and 1992.<\/p>\n<p>Mineralisation in the area mainly comprises orogenic lode-gold and volcanogenic massive sulphide copper-gold deposits.
