{"id":1133692,"date":"2019-08-20T16:25:50","date_gmt":"2019-08-20T21:25:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.mining.com\/?p=999820"},"modified":"2019-08-20T16:25:50","modified_gmt":"2019-08-20T21:25:50","slug":"bonterra-closes-24-million-private-placement-stock-jumps","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/juniorminingnews.com\/?p=1133692","title":{"rendered":"Bonterra closes $24 million private placement, stock jumps"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Bonterra Resources\u2019 (TSX-V: BTR, FSE: 9BR2) stock rose nearly<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>7%\u00a0Tuesday on the news that the Quebec-based\u00a0explorer\u00a0had closed on a C$32 million ($24 million) private placement.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<div class='d-flex justify-content-center'>\n<div id='div-gpt-ad-1561499308230-0'><script>googletag.cmd.push(function() {googletag.display('div-gpt-ad-1561499308230-0');});<\/script><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>Bonterra issued 7,385,000 units of the company&nbsp;at&nbsp;C$2.50 per unit for gross proceeds of C$18.5&nbsp;million,&nbsp;2.2 million&nbsp;flow-through units at&nbsp;C$3 for gross proceeds of&nbsp;C$6.5&nbsp;million&nbsp;and 1.6&nbsp;million&nbsp;super flow-through units at&nbsp;C$4.30 for gross proceeds of&nbsp;C$7&nbsp;million.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Each unit consists of one common share of the company and one-half of one common share purchase warrant. Each warrant is transferrable and entitles the holder to acquire one common share of the company until August 20, 2021 at C$3.10, Bonterra <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"said in a press release (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"http:\/\/btrgold.com\/bonterra-resources-inc-news-media\/news\/\" >said in a press release<\/a>. &nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Sprott Capital Partners LP acted as lead agent on behalf of a syndicate of agents which included PI Financial Corp., RBC Dominion Securities&nbsp;and Haywood Securities.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The gross proceeds from the issuance of the units will be used for Canadian exploration expenses the net proceeds from the units sold will be used for on-going exploration and development work and for general corporate purposes.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Bonterra currently has three active&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.mining.com\/gladiator-deposit-grows-bonterra-resources\/\">gold exploration projects <\/a>in Quebec and a
